Coway Run achieved a noteworthy milestone as it united the community and created a conversation on the dire water crisis suffered by many of our fellow Malaysians who - although it’s rightfully theirs - actually lack the capabilities to command their right to access clean water.
To accommodate the pandemic lockdown since 2020, Coway Run assimilated into a virtual platform to continue the annual marothon. Participants were able to run within their own free time in the comfort of their own homes. With a digitalised platform, participants could track their run progress and also have fun with a gaming element of Coway Run. Coway also prepared eco-friendly run kits for participants.

Coway Run 2021: Run for Your Region made history through The Malaysia Book of Records for the ‘Most Number of Virtual Run Tickets Sold in a Day’. Almost 10,000 Coway Run 2021 tickets were sold within 24 hours of its launch and marked a triumphant moment in Coway Run’s history!
