COWAY 5th ANNIVERSARY ''I LOVE COWAY'' CONTEST   Terms and Conditions Any new Sales Order in Sept'11 - Dec'11 are entitled to participate in Coway 5th Anniversary ''I LOVE COWAY'' Contest.   CONTEST PERIOD:- (1) The ''I LOVE COWAY'' Contest (''Contest'') is organized by Woongjin Coway (M) Sdn Bhd (''Coway'') and will be held from 1st of September 2011 to 23rd of December 2011, inclusive of both dates (''Contest Period''). Coway reserves the right to without notice change the duration and or the commencement and or expiry dates of the Contest Period.   ELIGIBILITY:- (2) The Contest is open to New Customer of Coway aged 18 and above who Key-in sales during Contest Period, in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. All key-in sales during Contest Period is eligible for the Contest upon installation and full-payment completed (''Net Sales''). (3) The following individuals/entities shall not be eligible to participate in this Contest: a.Partnerships, Charitable / Non-profit Organizations / Societies Customers; and/or b.Permenant and/or contract employees of Coway (including its subsidiaries and/or related companies) and/or their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or c.Sales representatives and/or agents (i.e. HP, HM, SM, GM, SGM, CODY, CM, SCM, CT, CTM and/or advertising & promotions agents and outsourcing partners and vendors) of Coway and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or d.Individuals below the age of 18 years. (4) In relation to 3rd Party Payments, only the registered Customer Name shall be eligible to participate in the Contest.   QUALIFYING ENTRIED FOR THE PRIZES:- (5) This Contest is open to all Eligible Participants and consists of 2 Types (''Type 1'' and ''Type 2'') as set out below: i.Type 1 will apply to any New Key-in OUTRIGHT/INSTALLMENT customers whose NET SALES during Contest Period. Eligible Participants shall log-in and register to www.coway.com.my to send-in personal details (i.e. Customer Order Number, Full Name, IC Number) and ''I Love Coway'' slogan (''I Love Coway'' because________). ii.Type 2 will apply to any New Key-in RENTAL customers whose NET SALES during Contest Period. Eligible Participants shall log-in and register to www.coway.com.my to send-in personal details (i.e. Customer Order Number, Full Name, IC Number) and ''I Love Coway'' slogan (''I Love Coway'' because________). (6) Eligible Participants may qualify for more than one track where applicable i.e. Eligible Participants can qualify for entries in both Type 1 and Type 2 concurrently. (7) The qualifying entries for each of the 2 Types as stated under Clause 5 above will be determined as follows: i.Type 1: an Eligible Participant will be entitled to three (3) qualifying entries. ii.Type 2: an Eligible Participant will be entitled to one (1) qualifying entries.   THE PRIZES:- (8) The prizes** to be given away under this Contest are as follows: a.Prizes: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 total 100 units worth approximately RM1,899.00 each. b.Grand Prizes: Korea Trip Travel Voucher value RM8,000 total 5 couples worth RM8,000.00 each couple. ** The winner shall be responsible for any auxiliary costs incurred from winning the Normal and Grand Prizes, including all upgrades and add-on service of prizes, any other third party costs (travel insurance, data plan, etc).   WINNER SELECTION:- (9) The procedure for the selection of the Winners is as follows: 9.1 There will be one (1) Prize Draw for Normal Prizes and Grand Prizes on 6th of January 2012. All Eligible Customers are qualified for the Prize Draw. 9.2 Eligible Participant(s) who fullfill the criteria stated in Clause 7 above will be short-listed randomly during the Prize Draw by an automated selection system from the list of qualifying entries. The hundred (100) shortlisted Eligible Participant(s) will be contacted by phone and will be required to answer one (1) question selected by Coway, wherein the hundred (100) selected Eligible Participant(s) who answer the question correctly will each be awarded one (1) brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 worth approximately RM1,899 each (''the Samsung Tab''). After the Samsung Tab have been awarded to the Eligible Participants, the next five (5) Eligible Participant(s) who are able to answer the question successfully will each awarded one (1) Korea Trip Travel Voucher (for 2pax) total value RM8,000. (''Korea''). 9.3 The Winner of the Samsung Tab and the Korea will receive the prize at the Prize-Giving Ceremony & Press Conference which will hold within 4 weeks after the end of the Contest Period. 9.4 Any short-listed candidate who fails to answer the question correctly will not receive the Prize and the next short-listed candidate will be called. All question and answer sessions will be judged and decided by a panel of judges selected by Coway and the decision of the panel of judges selected by Coway shall be final and no inquiries and correspondence will be entertained. 9.5 Coway has the sole discretion to fix the appointed date and time to make the telephone calls to the Eligible Participant(s) short listed for Prize Draw. Coway shall not be held responsible for calls made to Eligible Participant(s) which are (9.1) not completed or disconnected due to any reasons whatsoever (9.2) not answered or proceeded with due to the unavailability of short-listed Eligible Participant at the appointed date and time and/or due to any other whatsoever reasons. 9.6 The telephone call(s) made to the short listed Eligible Participant(s) will be based on the telephone number(s) supplied by the Eligible Participant(s) and maintained in Coway's records. It shall be the Eligible Participant(s)' responsibility to ensure that their phone number(s) provided are current and updated with Coway in the event of any changes being made to the same by the Eligible Participant(s). 9.7 Coway reserves the right to record these telephone conversations and any picture taken during prize-giving ceremony and use them for any promotional activities of Coway without any prior notice and payment to the Eligible Participant(s). 9.8 Short-listed Eligible Participant(s) who have already won one (1) prize in an earlier draw will not be eligible to participate for other draws. 9.9 Eligible Participant(s) agree and authorize Coway to forward the Winners' details (name, IC, telephone number, address) to the distributor/agent who would then contact the winners regarding their prizes. The Winners shall be responsible to make the necessary arrangements with Coway and/or its distributor/agent for the delivery and/or collection of prizes. All tax, charges and incidental costs in this regard shall be borne by the Winners.   GENERAL:- (10) By participating in this Contest, all Eligible Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any decisions of Coway and the judges. (11) Coway's decision on all matters relating to this Contest, including the Prizes to be given away and the determination of the winners, is final, binding and conclusive. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protests will be entertained. (12) Coway reserves the right, without prior notice or assigning any reason whatsoever, to substitute any of the Prizes with other item(s) of similar value. The Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or credit of any kind. The Prizes under the Contest do not include any accessories or items shown in any advertisements and/or promotional materials which are for photography purposes only. (13) To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coway expressly exclude and disclaim any representations, warranties, or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in respect of the Prizes. (14) In no event will Coway be liable for any loss or damages (including without limitation, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Contest, even if Coway has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded. (15) All Winners of the Prize Draw will be notified by telephone and/or mail. Names of the Winners will also be posted on Coway's website via www.coway.com.my and any social network (i.e. facebook, twitter) and print and/or radio announcement. (16) Coway reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest with or without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by Coway of this Contest shall not entitle any of the Eligible Participants to any claim or compensation against Coway for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension. (17) Coway reserves the right at its absolute discretion to amend, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any variation, additions, deletions or amendments to the terms and conditions herein shall be binding on the Eligible Customers and be deemed to be brought to the Eligible Customers by its display at Coway or by notice being sent by Coway or advertised or by any other mode which Coway deems fit. (18) These Terms and Conditions, as the same may be amended from time to time pursuant to Clause 21, shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising this Contest. (19) The Winners of the Contest will at the sole and absolute discretion of Coway be required to attend and participate in a prize-giving ceremony and/or other related events organized by Coway (if any) and if the Winners fail to attend such ceremonies and/or events, Coway reserves the right to forfeit the Prizes and select another Winner. (20) Coway reserves the right to publish or display the name, picture, identification numbers and city of residence, photographs or other information of the Prize Winners of this Contest for advertising and publicity. (21) If there is any inconsistency (ies), conflict(s), ambiguity (ies) or discrepancy (ies) between the Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese version and the English version of these Terms & Conditions, the English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
